Katelyn had her first day of school. We are pretty excited, because she has a young and very nice teacher that seems to have the energy to keep up with the group of 1st graders. Katelyn got to enjoy two recesses, ate lunch in a cafeteria with her friends (she has a cool princess lunch box), in which she let me know that I packed way too much, so she ended up sharing with the boys in the class. She even had music class, which she said that if the teacher doesn't learn every ones names in the next 30 days, she will buy everyone treats (Katelyn really wants her to fail). Of course, Katelyn feels like an old pro at this school thing. She even got to visit with her kindergarten teacher and catch up on what happened this summer.
