The Final Result.

Here is our new bench that Jared made for our family. Titus wasn't willing to model the new bench, but Calvin was willing to do it for a scratch behind the ear.

It matches perfectly. It even has four slats on the side and six in the middle, just like the other chairs.

Come on over, it is time to eat!

Just for fun, here is my happy place. I can sit here for hours, the love seat looks out two large windows to the oak and dogwood trees outdoors. It allows me to take in the changing season. One of my favorite times is when I throw a quilt on my lap and snuggle up to read a book OR even better, there is just enough room for my hubby or my two kids to sit right by my side. This time of year, my chair has front row seats to our lit up Christmas tree.

Some of our Christmas decorations have gone up. Hiding beyond the tree is Jared's next work in project. He is taking scrap pieces and slowing building a mission style chair to match our living room set. He even told me to go pick out an oversized decorative pillow to finish it off. Keeping my eye out for the perfect one for just the right price. :)

After the Veteran's Day Parade, Jared and I went through an Antique Store and found this. I love it and it is the perfect oppurtunity to share with the kids the true meaning of Christmas, that our Savior was born!
Jared has been busy lighting up our house and front yard...our winter wonderland to come! Is it wrong to always want to have the brightest house on the block?
